Warunki klimatyczne i pogodowe Laosu
Klimat Laosu jest bardzo zróżnicowany. Północne obszary kraju są chłodne, zaś w południowych panuje klimat tropikalny. Od maja do października trwa okres monsunowy z częstymi i obfitymi opadami deszczu. Pora sucha zaczyna się w listopadzie i kończy w kwietniu. Pod koniec pory suchej temperatura sięga 40°C, natomiast najchłodniejszy okres przypada na grudzień i styczeń. Wówczas temperatura w górach często spada poniżej 0 °C.
